Our pupils done a great job – they made a Wind Rose.They took a wheather calendar and counted days which were with North, West, South, East, North-west, North-east, South-west and South-east wind. After that they marked co-ordinates with counted days, then linked marks,then colored inside boundary line.
Suleyman say: Today, we’re Monday and it’s raining!
Prescilia say: Today, we’re Tuesday; it’s sunny but very cold!
Erwan say: Today, we’re Thursday and clouds are playing with sun!
Chenoa say: Today, we’re Friday and it’s cloudy…
We talked about the weather and made symbols. Every day one child is responsible for putting the right symbol on our weather calendar.
After one month we will have a look how the weather was.
The New Year came with a breeze of coldnes and snow. The children managed to enjoy the winter activities – sledge riding, have snow fights and build snowmen. In childrens drawings you can see winter feelings. We wish same to YOU!

Sotiris: Good morning everybody Dimitris: You are listening to and watching the weather channel from the Kindergarten of Kaparelli Together.. in an e-twinning project with Mrs Maria Jose from Portugal, Mrs Annette from France, Mrs Manuela from Austria, Mrs Kristina from Latvia and Mrs Anna from Greece. Antonia: We are situated here.. one hour from Athens, at the beautiful Kaparelli – Viotia near Thiva. Gianna: Beside our village is ‘Kitheronas’.. Hercules favorite mountain .. because his home was at Thiva! Giorgos: Every year we get some snow in our village.. but not yet so far:-( Panagiotis: It was rained for a long time so that all the dads will have enough water in their drillings and wells to watering their fields.. Vasia: And today the weather is raining again.. actually we have a lot of rain all day long.. Definitely everyone will need one umbrella.. Antonis: We took out our school flag ..so we observed that the wind blows from the SOUTH Vasilis: The thermometer outside the school showed 12 C… That means not so cold, because when the wind comes from the South usually isn’t cold ..as Mrs says
